Thematic Project (Beijing, China)

I AM HERE TO FULFILL MY PROMISE! Even though probably I am the only one who'd read this, but whatevs, I owe my blog some articles to write.

Like what I've said in my previous post about my epic summer vacation, this was one of the events that made it awesome. If you don't know what thematic project is, you can go check my previous post, I've explained it all there.

So, apparently I don't really had much going on the way there, but I could really say that the first day's pretty awesome. We went to the Great Wall of China as our first destination and wow. Being a foreigner slut that I really am, I started searching for the cutest (and handsomest) foreigner out there and I came across one. I tagged him along on his back and apparently, some of my friends are actually walking behind me, just because I was headed somewhere and they didn't know where to go. I then got caught up and just have a chat with my friends. We were adoring the scenery around us and then this one friend next to me giggled out of the blue, so I asked her about what had happened. She told us that when this one friend that was standing next to her said, "Thank God I was born," and this one guy that passed by her also said, "Thank God I was born, too," and apparently when my friend told me the story, she pointed out to the guy that I was tagging along and I accidentally kind of squealed, "That was the guy that I was tagging along!" aaaaand the guy wasn't exactly far enough and he kind of over-heard the whole conversation that we were having, so he turned on his back and smiled at us. We stood there awkwardly, probably muttering the word 'fuck' to ourselves and waved awkwardly to him and that was when he asked to take a photo of us, so yeah, we posed for him and he waved us goodbye as he continued walking along the wall.

Second day, Tata strikes again. This time, we were on this studio that held one of the most famous kung fu shows, so, yeah. We went inside pretty early, we got the seats like the ones on the upper tribune and when we were inside it was pretty much empty. I couldn't see a shit since I was like on the most front seat and my view was pretty much blocked by the wooden frontier. I got really bored and that was when this one group of really cute foreigners went in to the studio, even though they were pretty much on the other side of the studio. The 3 friends and I that striked on the Great Wall of China thought it'd be a good idea to go around and enter the studio from where the group of foreigners entered... and so, we did. We went outside, go round the front and enter from their entrance door. While the other walked several seats in front of them, I walked like only one range of seats from them, I was right behind them. Even one of the teachers rolled her eyes at us. Oh, well, girls will be girls.
After that, we actually planned that we will walked up to them and ask them for photos, so that's why right after the show ended (it was one pretty kick-ass show, by the way) we ran for our life back to that one group's entrance. When I looked behind me, there was only one that had the balls to actually come up to them. Well, when they came out we didn't exactly had the balls, too, but somebody had to, and that's when I decided to tap one of the to take a photo with, and when I did, from what I conclude from my friends' facial expressions, it was like they were saying, "Oh, no, you d'idnt.", but, yeah. I did. I didn't stop after that, I also asked one of his friends to take a photo with, too, and that's when a friend joined in and yep. After that, we kinda have a little chit chat and found out that they guy was in college (if I'm not mistaken) and he's a Canadian who's currently studying in America and lives in Bermuda. Pretty awesome, innit?

The next days went by pretty blurry, I couldn't quite remember the whole thing in order, but I do have this one pretty extreme experience that I'd love to share.

So, we just got back from all of the trips and we all went back to our hotel rooms. My roommate and I have showered and all and suddenly the phone rang. It looked like most of the guys are planning on going to the supermarket not far from the hotel to buy some foods, so they and like 5-6 girls--including me-- went to the lobby only to be caught by Mr. E, probably the most strict teacher that God's ever created. He told us that we couldn't go out since it's already late (yeah if you'd consider 10 pm as late) and well, so we did. We did go up, but we didn't go back to our rooms. We all gathered in one of the boys' rooms (we weren't doing anything other than joking, I swear) and when one of my friends went outside to go to the room next to us, she saw Mr. E walking towards the room and we all panicked. Since I and two friends of mine were still stuck in the boys' room, the only thing that came up to our minds was to hide inside the bathroom. We locked it and if you were there, you could possibly hear our heartbeats. My friend that saw him first got away with the reason that she was going to get like an instant noodle since Mr. E didn't allow us to go to the supermarket and she was starving as hell. Mr. E told her to go back to her room and that's when he checked the room that we were in. One of my friends panicked and her sandals squeaked as she tried to stand on the sides of the bath tub. I panicked and I could feel my breath all caught up in my throat, and as we heard the boys getting rowdy all over again, we unlocked the bathroom door and checked outside if he was already gone and yes, he was gone. Thank God, for that, because if we do get caught, I just don't know what to do anymore. Even after that, most of the guys and the 6 girls gathered again and at like 11 or 12-ish we sneaked out to the supermarket, teehee.

SO, yeah. There are a lot of interesting things about this trip that I'd love to share more, but I can't seem to find the words that'd express it and that's why I'm ending the post here. I have more stories coming after this post, but it'd obviously be about another event.

Have a nice day, Freaks!
